Air Georgian SOAR Mentorship
Air Georgian, an innovator who is committed to developing formal aviation mentorship programs in Canada has continued to grow its SOAR program with the addition of the Brampton Flight Centre.
The partnership will provide opportunities for students to pursue numerous operational support positions with Air Georgian, an Air Canada Express airline. Some of these positions include training assistant, publications technician and technical writer. All of these operational support roles aid new hires in transitioning to first officer positions. Due to the Air Canada Pilot Mobility Agreement (PMA) that was established between Air Canada and Air Georgian, up to 80% of new hires are offered unique formal pathways to Air Canada.
The partnership will also allow the opportunity for students that pursue their flight instructor rating and work at BFC as a Flight Instructor the opportunity to pursue a job as a First Officer on either the Beech 1900 or CRJ.
