The Brampton Flight Centre will be conducting a Commercial UAV program January 12th to January14th.

TP 15263 – Knowledge Requirements for Pilots of Unmanned Air Vehicle Systems (UAV) 25 kg or Less, Operating within Visual Line of Sight 

SFOC applicants demonstrating compliance in the following areas may be eligible for SFOCs of greater scope and/or duration; they may also benefit from more-timely approval of SFOC applications.

This Comprehensive Course  includes the following  topics:

Part I

UAV/UAS General knowledge, History and Usage

Flight Controls

UAV Maintainance best practices

Commercial Flight Operations

SFOC (Special Flight Operations Certificate) Requirements and Procedures)

ROC-A Radio Exam (If Required)

General Knowledge Exam

Photography and Video Production for UAV/UAS

Engines and Electric Motors

General Safety Issues

Current transport Canada Regulations for UAV/UAS Operations

Part II

Participants who successfully complete the course are issued a Certificate proving they have completed a TP15263 Compliant course. The Brampton Flight Centre is listed by Transport Canada as a TP15263 UAV Training Facility.
