DESCRIPTION:In this class we will discuss radio wave theory\, the theory of operation\, application of various radio aids to navigation including VORs\, NDBs & ADFs\, DME\, VORTACs\, TACANs\, GPS\, radar\, transponders and ELTs. Reference: From the Ground Up: pages 231 – 258.\n\n\n\nAlthough it is beneficial to attend classes while taking flight lessons\, it is not necessary. Flight training can start as soon as you are paired with an instructor and is payable after each flight.  We have an online reservation system for customers to make bookings with aircraft and their Flight Instructor at their convenience.  \nThe PPL program is a flexible self paced program so you can decide how often you want to fly while attending ground school. On average most students tend to take about a year to obtain their PPL if they are doing their training on a part time basis\, however\, please keep in mind that we have had students finish in as little as a few months if they are committed to flying 4-5 times a week.
