Great War Flying Museum

We are very proud to have the Great War Flying Museum (GWFM) based at the Brampton-Caledon Airport. The GWFM is the only one of it’s kind in Canada. The vision of The Great War Flying Museum is to inspire a passion and appreciation for World War I aviation history to all who participate in and experience the Museum by:

  • Becoming the leading local period heritage attraction.
  • Giving students and the visiting public a greater knowledge of World War I aviation history.
  • Ensuring that all Museum visitors feel pleased that they have received value for their contribution.

The Museum is open 11:00 am to 4:00 pm Saturday, Sunday and statutory holidays, from the Victoria Day long weekend in May until the Labour Day weekend in September.

Admission is $5.00 per adult; children 12 and under are free. There is a family admission of $20.00 for two adults and related children 13 – 18.

Conditions permitting, museum aircraft will be flown on days the museum is open. Some or all of the museum aircraft may not be present on those days that they are in attendance at airshows.
