After Licence Sign Off for PPL

Please note that you will not receive your PTR back as this is sent to Transport Canada for their records. For this reason, it is imperative that your logbook and PTR match. You will need to purchase a new ePTR if you are going to proceed with your CPL training.

You will need to sign a CPL contract should you wish to continue your training. To have the CPL contract sent to you electronically (DocuSign), please notify our Campus Administrator [email protected] of your intentions and request the contract to be sent.

The temporary licence that will be issued will only be valid for 90 days. For this reason, please make sure that you keep an eye on the validity period and reach out to a BFC admin if approximately 75 days have passed ([email protected]) so that we can inquire to TC before it expires. Once your temporary PPL expires it will revert back to a Student Pilot Permit (SPP).

Please note that you will not be able to commence your Commercial Flight Training/Night Rating/Rental flights until you have received your temporary licence. Should flight hour, written results or the  flight test not meet the CARs requirements an admin fee will be charged of $25.00.
