Student Training Program: As the Program is for career pilots, we do not accept international students for PPL only. All international students must attend the school with the intentions of completing the CPL or to obtain ratings to add to their current CPL.

Foreign License Conversion: A typical conversion is one where the flight hour requirements to convert a foreign PPL or CPL is completely met and the student only needs to complete a PSTAR ROC-A and regain currency on their current license. Circumstances may require additional hours and applicants are encouraged to reach out to Transport Canada Civil Aviation – TCCA (Canada’s aviation regulatory body) for further guidance.

Self-Paced: The self-paced program is only for flight training and does not provide a College diploma upon graduation.

Course lengths in the Self- Paced program vary depending on training required. For information on the course lengths, please contact [email protected].

Program start dates for Self-Paced start every month for Private Pilot Licence. Those interested in converting their licence can also start at any time once valid study permit has been obtained.

If you are accepted into the Self-Paced program, please note that acceptance letters are valid for up to 3 months, therefore it is important that you gather the required documents required by the Canadian Embassy so that you can apply for a Study Visa in a timely manner. On average we find that it takes the Canadian Embassy 2-3 months to offer you a reply.

College or IATPL program: If you are interested in the College or IATPL program, you will have to first apply for the College/IATPL program and if you are accepted, we will then guide you through the international study permit application process. Please keep in mind that you will have to apply in January or February.
