Teaches: All Licences

Ever since I could remember, I have always wanted to be a professional pilot. As a kid, I would spend my time learning as much as I could about aviation with my dad and dreaming about the day I would finally be able to soar in the sky. My dream came true when I started flight training at the age of 14 and I have been flying ever since. Apart from flying, I am also a Mechanical Engineering student where I specialize in aerodynamics and engine propulsion. Aviation for me is so much more than just flying an aircraft. It’s a lifestyle. My passion for flying led me into flight instructing where I work hard to teach and inspire others to pursue a career in aviation. So if you ever dared to gaze skyward, now is your time.

Whether your aviation aspirations are for leisure or a career, allow my colleagues and I the opportunity to help you reach them! After flying for 7 years, I’ve learned one of the most valuable components of flight training is ensuring your experience is positive and developmental. My goal is to help you achieve both. Come fly with me!

After over thirty years of recreational flying – including everything from gliders to vintage biplanes – I decided to pursue my interests in aviation full time as a Flight Instructor. I am teaching Recreational, Private and Commercial Licences, Single Engine IFR and Instructor Ratings. In addition, I also very much enjoy the opportunity to share my passion for classic, tail wheel equipped aircraft.

I’ve been fascinated by airplanes since I was small and always dreamed of learning how to fly. I began flight training at BFC in 1989 and made it a reality. As a Flight Instructor, I now look forward to helping others realize their dream. A few other things I enjoy are golfing, downhill skiing, and scuba diving.

I moved to Canada to pursue my dream of becoming a Commercial Pilot. I obtained my Commercial Pilot Licence from Pakistan which I converted to Canadian Commercial Licence, summer of 2011. I then completed my Flight Instructor Rating here at the Brampton Flight Centre in February 2012.

I look forward to working with my students in the dynamic team environment at Brampton Flight Centre. My aim is to provide relaxed learning environment where we can learn as well as have fun. I am available during club hours 7 days a week. I am very passionate about flying and look forward to teaching to new Pilots using the knowledge I have attained and adhering to the high standards of the Brampton Flight Centre.

I began flight training part-time in 2008 at The Brampton Flight Centre. In 2011 I decided to pursue my passion on a full time basis. I completed my PPL later that year and then went to Miami to finish my CPL, Multi Engine IFR. This experience allowed me to further develop my skills and become a more well-rounded pilot.  In 2013 I decided to become a Flight Instructor and completed a Class 4 Rating in August of 2014 at The Brampton Flight Centre. “My goal is to motivate and inspire students while sharing my passion for aviation with them, with safety in mind.”

My passion for aviation started when I was young and visiting the flight deck was an occasion I always looked forward to when travelling. Previously, I held a non-pilot job for an airline which is what inspired me to begin my flight training and ultimately turn my dream into reality. After completing my Commercial Pilot License and Multi IFR, I attained a Flight Instructor rating, which allows me to share my passion and gives me the privilege of helping others materialize their goals and dreams.

I have loved aviation since a very young age, so when it came time to choose what I wanted to do with my life it was a no-brainer – I wanted to be a pilot. I completed my flight training with the University of Waterloo, majoring in geography and aviation and I became a flight instructor because I wanted to help others achieve their dreams of becoming a pilot. I can help people obtain their recreational, private, and commercial pilot licenses and I am available 6 days a week.

I have an accurate approximation of 21,500 hours. I hold Airline Transport Pilot Licence, Class I Instructor, 1,200 hours of turbine time, 350 hours jet time, former Air Cadet.
My favourite catch phrase….. It doesn’t matter how many hours you have, the most important hour is the next one !

As a former student turned instructor at Brampton, I know what it takes to make the most of your training here. I’ve grown up surrounded by passionate aviators and that influence has clearly rubbed off on me. I’ve had brief training stints outside of Canada as well and I’ve made the most out of those learning experiences to better shape my abilities as an instructor. So whether you come from a family of aviators or are stepping in to this world with fresh eyes, I’d be thrilled to be a part of your aviation journey.
