I am returning to flying after a career elsewhere — a related career that fortunately kept me in touch with aviation. Everyday life often distracts us from the more important goals we have. Whether you are returning to the exhilaration of flying, or fulfilling your wish to embrace the sense of accomplishment flying gives, join me in a visit to the airport. We can talk about our mutual passion – Flying!

You will love the view of our corner office. And, even if you cannot presently “Reach for the Sky”, you will have a memory to share with your family, friends and fellow aviation enthusiasts. Bring your camera!

I’ve been fascinated by airplanes since I was small and always dreamed of learning how to fly. I began flight training at BFC in 1989 and made it a reality. As a Flight Instructor, I now look forward to helping others realize their dream. A few other things I enjoy are golfing, downhill skiing, and scuba diving.

I have always been captivated by the dream of flying which was fuelled by an introductory flight in 1976 in St. Catharines. 20 years later I was able to realize that dream here at Brampton Flight Centre. Winning the Top Recreational Pilot award and the Top Commercial Pilot award as a student, all of my major achievements as a pilot and as a senior Instructor have been due to the excellent training that I received here at BFC. Having worked previously as an Instructor and Chief Flight Instructor at a smaller school, I have now returned to BFC to share this experience with eager students like you.  I am welcoming Recreational, Private and Commercial students who are looking for a safe, professional but fun atmosphere to make their dreams a reality!

I moved to Canada to pursue my dream of becoming a Commercial Pilot. I obtained my Commercial Pilot Licence from Pakistan which I converted to Canadian Commercial Licence, summer of 2011. I then completed my Flight Instructor Rating here at the Brampton Flight Centre in February 2012.

I look forward to working with my students in the dynamic team environment at Brampton Flight Centre. My aim is to provide relaxed learning environment where we can learn as well as have fun. I am available during club hours 7 days a week. I am very passionate about flying and look forward to teaching to new Pilots using the knowledge I have attained and adhering to the high standards of the Brampton Flight Centre.

I began flight training part-time in 2008 at The Brampton Flight Centre. In 2011 I decided to pursue my passion on a full time basis. I completed my PPL later that year and then went to Miami to finish my CPL, Multi Engine IFR. This experience allowed me to further develop my skills and become a more well-rounded pilot.  In 2013 I decided to become a Flight Instructor and completed a Class 4 Rating in August of 2014 at The Brampton Flight Centre. “My goal is to motivate and inspire students while sharing my passion for aviation with them, with safety in mind.”

I have loved aviation since a very young ago, so when it came time to choose what I wanted to do with my life it was a no-brainer – I wanted to be a pilot. I completed my flight training with the University of Waterloo, majoring in geography and aviation and I became a flight instructor because I wanted to help others achieve their dreams of becoming a pilot. I can help people obtain their recreational, private, and commercial pilot licenses and I am available 6 days a week.

My interest in aircraft started at the age of 5 when I first stepped on a commercial airliner. From that moment on I knew what I wanted to do in life and still vividly remember the smile it brought to my face when accelerating down the runway. Here we are some 17 years later where I turned a dream into a reality, and yes I still smile while going down the runway everyday! The feeling of watching my students succeed and seeing the smiles on their faces make me enjoy what I do daily. Come fly with me and let me help you achieve your goals no matter how big or small they may be!

I have an accurate approximation of 21,500 hours. I hold Airline Transport Pilot Licence, Class I Instructor, 1,200 hours of turbine time, 350 hours jet time, former Air Cadet.
My favourite catch phrase….. It doesn’t matter how many hours you have, the most important hour is the next one !
